Golf Cart Controllers

We have Golf Cart Controllers for all makes and models, including D&D programmable and non-programable controllers.

Plug breaking options are available on select D&D controllers.

D&D programable controllers are completely epoxy potted to prevent failure due to vibration or moisture.

How a Golf Cart Controller Works:

A golf cart controller works muck like a dimmer switch for a ceiling light. The controller can increase or decrease the voltage and electric motor receives, which in turn increases or decreases the speed of the golf cart.

The larger the controller, the more electricity the motor can get, thus creating more torque.

At Carts Plus, we stock thousands of controllers, parts and accessories. We have the largest inventory of golf cart parts in the Midlands.

Golf carts manufactured after 1994 use the precision drive system. Golf carts manufactured before 1994 use a drive control system.

As the name implies, these controllers control the rate of acceleration and speed of a golf cart. If your cart is not accelerating properly or is not as fast as it once was, check out the controller.

Every EZ-GO golf cart comes equipped with one of two kinds of speed controllers, a precision drive system or a drive control system.
